The Museum makes available reproductions of materials in its collections at its discretion and contingent upon the completion of a licensing agreement and receipt of payment. Rights will be granted for a one time, non-exclusive use. All requests for reproduction must be received in writing.
All images, text, audio, and visual materials in the Museum’s collections are protected by United States copyright laws. While the Museum holds copyright for many of the items in its collections, it is the responsibility of the requestor to secure copyright permission for all items requested. The Museum will request proof of permission for any items for which it does not hold copyright. The Museum will not be held responsible for inaccurate permission or failure to obtain permission.
Orders will be processed within four (4) weeks of the Museum receiving the request form. Rush requests may be accommodated for an additional fee.
Conditions of Use
Specific conditions of use are outlined in the licensing agreement between the Museum and requestor. All rights must be renewed after a period of five (5) years.
Reproduction fees are composed of permission fees and production fees. Permission fees are assessed for each intended use of the requested material. Production fees are assessed depending on format, reproduction, and shipping specifications. Additional fees may be assessed for rush orders, shipping specifications, new photography requirements, etc.
Schedule of Fees
Payment must be received and processed prior to the release of requested materials. Payment is accepted via check in US dollars drawn on a US bank or wire transfer.
