Q: Is there an age limit for the Lipper Internship?
A: If you are enrolled at an accredited university, either as an undergraduate or graduate student, you are eligible for the Internship.
Q: Can I still participate in the Internship if I cannot make the training?
A: No; all days of training (late August for the fall semester and early January for the spring semester) are mandatory for participation in the program with no exceptions.
Q: What is the time commitment throughout the semester?
A: The Museum requires that Lipper interns be available a minimum of one day a week throughout the semester.
Q: Do I have to be a History or Jewish Studies major to be a Lipper Intern?
A: We encourage students of various backgrounds to apply.
Q: Do I have to go to school in New York to be a Lipper Intern?
A: No. We accept interns from New York City and state, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Rhode Island.
