Against a backdrop of rising antisemitism around the world, join the Museum for a conversation with Dr. Deborah Lipstadt and Ira Forman about how to combat it.
Lipstadt, the Dorot Professor of Modern Jewish History and Holocaust Studies at Emory University and an advisor to the Museum, has been nominated by President Joe Biden as the U.S. Special Envoy to Monitor and Combat Anti-Semitism. Forman served in the same role from 2013 to 2017 under President Barack Obama.
Together, Lipstadt and Forman will discuss the state of antisemitism today, how it has evolved since Forman’s tenure, and the most effective strategies for fighting back. Their discussion is co-presented by the New York Board of Rabbis.
