Overview:

The Digital Marketing Manager leads the digital efforts of the Museum’s Marketing and Communications department. This position develops and oversees the creation of digital initiatives that expand the Museum’s storytelling efforts. It oversees the work on the Museum’s web sites, direct email marketing efforts, and electronic materials, assists with media relations, and manages the production of video materials and storytelling initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the Marketing Producer
  • Manage digital product initiatives including but not limited to web sites, email newsletters and campaigns, the Bloomberg App, digital educational resources, and creative storytelling initiatives.
  • Work with the other two areas of the Museum’s Marketing Dept and across the Museum on the development of digital marketing initiatives in a leadership capacity
  • Provide Communications representation and leadership at internal and external events
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • College degree with five-to-seven years of relevant experience.
  • Background in communications, marketing, digital education initiatives or non-profit field.
  • Outstanding ability to work in digital media to produce effective storytelling
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, analytical skills, and knowledge of best practices for communications and marketing.
  • Expertise in WordPress, MailChimp, Adobe Suite’s Premiere and Photoshop, YouTube, and Google Analytics. Experience with Bloomberg Connects app a plus.
  • Creative self-starter with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively.
  • Ability to handle multiple, time-sensitive tasks simultaneously.

Salary range: $65,000 – $75,000
