Meanings of October 27th is an oral history project that explores Jewish and non-Jewish Pittsburghers’ life histories and reflections on the October 27th, 2018 synagogue shooting at the Tree of Life building. Project co-creators Noah Schoen and Aliza Becker presented this interactive webinar developed around several audio clips from the interviews of Meanings of October 27th, where perspectives from Pittsburgh challenge viewers to reflect on our own relationship with antisemitism, racism, and the synagogue shooting.
