Children of all ages and backgrounds are invited to join us for this summer’s family programs!

On Sunday, June 13, we welcomed SMÍSH GEMÍSH to our stage in Edmond J. Safra Hall. Families enjoyed the program in person and online, as we livestreamed the event.

SMÍSH GEMÍSH is Sarah Myerson (SM), a Yiddish dancer and an ordained cantor, and Ilya Shneyveys (ÍSH), a klezmer multi-instrumentalist. They put the ear in learning, the now in knowledge, and the oy in joy.

This family program for children of all ages with SMÍSH mixed (GEMÍSH) song, dance, games, and stories, and a bit of Yiddish along the way.

Watch the program below.

This program is sponsored in part through the Battery Park City Authority community partnership.
