Throughout the year, the Museum’s Education department offers teacher professional development courses on teaching about the Holocaust.
One such example is a recent course for teachers of grades 5 and up who teach social studies or ELA. The course, held virtually over 4 mornings, included lectures from scholars, testimony from Holocaust survivors, and workshops to transfer learning to a classroom setting, whether in person or virtual.
