Edmond J. Safra Hall is a multi-functional performance space, capable of lectures, screenings, concerts, theatre, dance, and more. With the availability to seat 357, this is the perfect space for any event. Because of Covid-19, our focus has turned to utilizing the space as a production studio for recording and streaming out live broadcasts. The Museum welcomes inquiries from non-profit organizations and other presenters looking for a space to perform, record, and stream out events. We inaugurated this initiative on Oct 25th with a concert by Frank London’s Klezmer Brass Allstars that was streamed out to over 450 ticket buyers.
Our hardwood stage is roughly 38′ x 21′ with the possibility of an extension spanning 26′ x 10′. Our state of the art Tri-Caster TC1 system by NewTek is capable of capturing High-Definition video from 3 PTZ mounted cameras and one stationary tripod/handheld. This allows for capture and streaming capability. The Museum has just completed a $95,000 audio upgrade with an Allen and Heath C3500 controlling a Nexo/JBL system. We are supplied with mics, monitors, and all accessories in-house that can make shows come to life. Our lighting system is ETC and EOS family with 96+ available dimmers, controlled by an ETC Express Board.
