Oy vey! Bubbe has lost her special treasure. Never fear, Ella is great at finding lost things. Join the KVELLephants for a fun and colorful beach-day adventure in this interactive reading for all ages with Jen Kostman, author and illustrator of Ella KVELLephant and the Search for Bubbe’s Yiddish Treasure.

Jen Kostman’s lively illustrations are bright and colorful. Young readers will appreciate searching for the many detailed animals in the book, while adults will love the multi-generational themes. A note helps readers understand the history of the Yiddish language and a glossary highlights vocabulary. A signing will follow the interactive reading, with books available for purchase.

Jen Kostman is an author and illustrator with a big imagination and a love for all things whimsical. She graduated from the School of Visual Arts with a BFA in Illustration. As a preschool teacher in New York City, she enjoys reading picture books to her students as often as possible. In 2020, Jen Kostman illustrated The Littlest Candle: A Hanukkah Story written by Rabbis Kerry and Jesse Olitzky and published by Kalaniot Books. She is proud to dedicate this book to her own, much-loved Bubbe.
