Join us for an exciting, immersive experience featuring The In[HEIR]itance Project and tour Ordinary Treasures: Highlights from the Museum of Jewish Heritage Collection.

Open Rehearsal with The In[HEIR]itance Project
12 PM
The In[heir]itance Project, a national arts organization, is in the middle of a dynamic partnership with the Museum to create a new piece of theatre activating the testimonials of Veterans from WWII into live performance. Integral to the In[HEIR]itance Project’s work is an open-process where the community is invited to participate long before the final show. Join us this Member Day as we put new material up on its feet for the first time and invite Museum Members to help shape it.

Guided Tour of Ordinary Treasures
2 PM
Join us for a tour of our new special exhibition, Ordinary Treasures, which features objects that are ambassadors from a world that flesh-and-blood people created, inhabited, and fought to preserve. They illustrate Jewish life and reveal self-reliance in the face of exclusion. Like the majority of the Museum’s collection, many of the objects featured in Ordinary Treasures were donated by survivors or their families, or the families of those who perished. They were preserved through war and hardship, and with great care. They are treasures.

Additional Member Day features include:

  • FREE COFFEE from LOX at Cafe Bergson (limit one per person)
  • 40% DISCOUNT at the Pickman Museum Shop
