Over the second half of the 20th century, Battery Park City developed from a set of dilapidated piers on the southern tip of Manhattan into a vibrant neighborhood, cultural center, and home of the Museum of Jewish Heritage – A Living Memorial to the Holocaust. Join BJ Jones, President & CEO of the Battery Park City Authority, and Mitchell Moss, the Henry Hart Rice Professor of Urban Policy & Planning at New York University and Director of NYU’s Rudin Center for Transportation, for a conversation about the history of this major urban development and its role in transforming Lower Manhattan.
