With courage and creation activities for the whole family, the Museum’s Courage to Act Family Day will open the Museum for a full day of fun inspired by the new exhibition, Courage to Act: Rescue in Denmark, the Museum’s first exhibition for visitors aged 9 and up. Learn how neighbors worked together and united against Nazism to rescue Denmark’s Jewish population. The schedule includes:

  • 11:00 AM-12:00 PM: Klezmer & Danish music concert with Mozart for Munchkins (Safra)
  • 12:30-1:00 PM: Memory stone art experience with Jane Tuv in the Garden of Stones
  • 1:00-1:45 PM: Lighthouse and boat construction from upcycled materials with Abby Adams (Safra)
  • 1:30-2:00 PM: Memory stone art experience with Jane Tuv in the Garden of Stones
  • 2:15-2:45 PM:Lighthouse and boat construction from upcycled materials with Abby Adams (Safra)
  • 2:15-2:45 PM: Memory stone art experience with Jane Tuv in the Garden of Stones
  • ONGOING: Courage to Act: Rescue in Denmark Exhibit (Timed tickets can be purchased here)
  • ONGOING: Creative play experiences with educator Linda White (Studio)
  • ONGOING: Book Nook (Studio)

Registration is encouraged, but not required.

The Museum is open on Sundays from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM with Jewish and Russian fare on offer at the Museum’s LOX Café.

Please note that minor children are required to be accompanied by a parent at all family activities.
