On the eve of International Romani Day (April 8), join us for this live lecture-performance by Dr. Petra Gelbart, who will share songs, texts, and images created by Roma and Sinti as works of Holocaust remembrance. Dr. Gelbart, a grandchild of Roma Holocaust survivors, is an ethnomusicologist and music therapist who has been researching Holocaust commemoration for two decades. Following her presentation, she will take questions from viewers.
