Join Holocaust survivors and other members of the Museum community to watch the live simulcast of the official commemoration ceremony broadcast from Auschwitz, Poland.
The ceremony will be the central event of the 2020 International Holocaust Remembrance Day observance across the globe and will be attended by survivors, their families, heads of states, and world leaders. We are honored to be the official viewing site of this ceremony in New York City.
Our program will begin with opening remarks by local leaders, and will include a special sounding of the shofar from Auschwitz on display in Auschwitz. Not long ago. Not far away.
