Brooklyn based Yiddish psych/folk band Midwood continues their residency at the Museum of Jewish Heritage with an eruption of globe-spanning violin music. Joined by the masterfully experimental Carnatic playing of Trina Basu and Arun Ramamurthy, their meeting promises to feel at once ancient and surprising; a bath of lush sounds that only a place like New York City could bring about.
