85 years ago this month, on February 20, 1939, 20,000 pro-Nazi Americans attended a rally at Madison Square Garden in the heart of New York City. The keynote speaker of the rally was Fritz Kuhn, head of the German American Bund, which had chapters all across America that promoted antisemitism. Both the short film A Night at the Garden and the documentary Nazi Town, USA: The Untold Story of Nazi Sympathizers on American Soil tell the story of the rally and the Bund. Join the Museum for a screening of A Night at the Garden along with clips of Nazi Town, USA.

Following the screening Marshall Curry, director of A Night at the Garden, will be in conversation with Peter Yost, producer of Nazi Town, USA. Moderated by Daniel Lombroso, director of White Noise.
