No history of the development of Poland can be complete without the history of Jews in Poland. In this presentation, Doron Shach traces the identity and migrations of the Jewish people of Poland across a millennia, and how their rich history, heritage, and culture were largely devastated during the Holocaust. This program is co-presented by JewishGen in conjunction with the Museum’s exhibition Memory Unearthed: The Lodz Ghetto Photographs of Henryk Ross. The exhibition will be on view before and after the event.
