Grades 4-12 educators are invited to the Museum of Jewish Heritage for a special open house showcasing the tours for students that the Museum offers. The tours include our Core Exhibition, The Holocaust: What Hate Can Do, our new tour about hate speech, Speaking Up! Confronting Hate Speech and Courage to Act: Rescue in Denmark, our exhibition about the heroic rescue of Danish Jewry during the Holocaust. Educators will also have the opportunity to learn how to sign their classes up for tours at the Museum.
Lunch will be provided (dietary laws observed).
NYC DOE and NYC Charter schools receive free admission once we receive a completed admissions waiver form. Title I schools and other schools showing financial need may also receive waived admission upon request.
Participants will be eligible to receive CTLE credits.
