Join us for the U.S. premiere of The Rescue—A Live Film-Concerto and discover the remarkable story of Colonel José Arturo Castellanos told through the eyes of his grandchildren. In 1942 Colonel Castellanos, the Salvadoran Consul General in Switzerland, led the movement to save thousands of European Jews during the Holocaust by creating and distributing more than 13,000 Salvadoran citizenship papers.

The film-concerto through which we explore his story will feature a live, six-piece Latin chamber orchestra and will be followed by a conversation with the filmmakers and grandsons of the Colonel, Alvaro and Boris Castellanos.
