The crucial historical lessons of Black-Jewish cooperation are revisited in Shared Legacies (2020, 97 minutes, English, no subtitles), a new film and call to action from director Shari Rogers. Through a treasure trove of archival materials, Rogers explores the common cause found between Black and Jewish communities during the turbulent civil rights era, and the frayed relationship in recent years.
