How much about the Holocaust can we learn from a single photograph? Apparently quite a bit. Professor Wendy Lower will share her new book, The Ravine: A Family, a Photograph, a Holocaust Massacre Revealed, and take us on a journey across Europe and Israel in order to reveal the victims of a Holocaust massacre in Ukraine, the perpetrators, and the bystanders. In doing so, we will gain a deeper insight into Nazi Germany’s genocidal policies.
