Join us for a discussion with the creators of “Those Who Were There: Voices from the Holocaust,” the only podcast dedicated to sharing Holocaust history through the first-hand testimonies of survivors and witnesses. Together, we will take a behind-the-scenes look at the production process and get an advance preview of Season 2, which is a co-production of the Fortunoff Video Archive for Holocaust Testimonies and the Museum of Jewish Heritage.
“Those Who Were There” draws on recorded interviews from Yale University’s Fortunoff Video Archive, which comprises the oral histories of over 4,000 Holocaust survivors and witnesses. The podcast’s second season focuses on a collection of 600 testimonies recorded by the Museum of Jewish Heritage in affiliation with the Fortunoff Video Archive during the 1990s.
