Yom HaShoah is Holocaust Remembrance Day. It coincides with the 27th of Nisan (on the Hebrew calendar) to mark the beginning of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising of 1943, when Jewish resistance fighters defied the Nazis and fought for freedom and dignity. Please join us at the Museum on Yom HaShoah for a day of learning and remembrance.
From 10 AM to 2 PM, visitors will also have the honor of meeting Holocaust survivors, whose presence in the Museum’s galleries will offer new opportunities to learn. As survivors continue the sometimes difficult work of sharing their stories—allowing the next generation to engage in personal experience of global significance—their courage and generosity of time and spirit is both astonishing and greatly appreciated.
