The Museum of Jewish Heritage mourns the loss Thomas H. Lee, z”l, (March 27, 1944-February 23, 2023). Mr. Lee was a Museum Board member and benefactor whose commitment to the Museum made a lasting impact.

A pioneer in his field, Lee was responsible for investing more than $15 billion of capital over his 46 years in the business, including the acquisition and subsequent sales of such brand names as Snapple Beverages and Warner Music.

He was also known as a philanthropist and trustee who served on the boards of many organizations, including the Museum of Jewish Heritage — A Living Memorial to the Holocaust. Others include Lincoln Center, the Museum of Modern Art, Brandeis University, and Harvard University.
