(New York, N.Y.)— Jack Kliger, President & CEO of the Museum of Jewish Heritage – A Living Memorial to the Holocaust, issued the following statement about his selection to serve on the city’s first Jewish Advisory Council:

“I thank Mayor Adams for the opportunity to serve the Jewish Advisory Council. This is a significant milestone that underscores the importance of preserving and promoting Jewish heritage, culture, and history in our diverse city. I look forward to collaborating with fellow Advisory Council members and City officials to address the needs and concerns of the Jewish community. Together, we will work towards fostering inclusivity, combating anti-Semitism, and ensuring that the stories of the Jewish people continue to be heard and celebrated throughout New York City.”
