The Museum of Jewish Heritage – A Living Memorial to the Holocaust announces its schedule of special events and programs in commemoration of Holocaust Remembrance Day / Yom HaShoah (observed on April 12) beginning Sunday, April 8 through Thursday, April 26, 2018.

During this commemorative period, Museum admission is free and hours are extended until
8 PM from Monday to Thursday. The special events begin with the largest commemoration in the metropolitan area: New York’s Annual Gathering of Remembrance on April 8 that brings together more than 2,000 Holocaust survivors and their families, civic leaders, and the larger community.

The Museum of Jewish Heritage–A Living Memorial to the Holocaust is New York’s contribution to the global responsibility to never forget. The Museum is committed to the crucial mission of educating diverse visitors about Jewish life before, during, and after the Holocaust.
