For the last night of Hanukkah, Young Friends Board members Spencer Gordon, Michael Handman, and Cali Hersh lit several menorahs in front of the Museum to help bring light into the world amidst a dark winter season as part of the 2020 Young Friends Light Up the Night series.
This year has been an especially challenging one. The pandemic has been devastating for cultural institutions, and the Museum of Jewish Heritage is no exception. With antisemitism on the rise, the Museum’s mission of fighting bigotry through the lessons of the Holocaust has become even more critical. As a result, we have been rapidly expanding our online presence to reach a worldwide audience and bring the Museum into everyone’s home.
Although things may seem dark, this community can help us usher in a brighter future. YOU have the opportunity to illuminate the importance of the Museum’s mission and ensure the lessons of the Holocaust are never forgotten.
We are pleased to share that all contributions made this Hanukkah of $108 or more will be matched by Dr. Ruth Westheimer, Marian Klein Feldt and Matthew Goldstein. Double your impact today by supporting the Young Friends of the Museum.
